    1. Scope and nature of services

These terms govern purchases through Themis e-Services, including Cyprus electronic company searches, official company certificates, Memorandum and Articles of Association, certification and apostille options, and courier services where selected.

We act as a professional intermediary retrieving official records and arranging the selected document services from the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property of the Republic of Cyprus and other competent authorities.

Registry searches and document retrieval do not constitute legal advice or create an attorney-client relationship or regulated services. Themis is a corporate administrative service provider and a subsidiary of Georgiades & Pelides LLC; Themis is not itself a law firm.

    2. Orders, prices and payment

You are responsible for checking the company name, registration number, document choices, contact details and any courier address before paying. Please contact us promptly if you discover an error.

Prices are in euros (EUR), exclusive of VAT and marked “+ VAT”. Applicable VAT and the final amount payable are displayed at checkout. Disbursements are included where stated in the service description; selected extras form part of your order total.

Payment is due in full when placing an order. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Themis does not store your full card number. An order is treated as paid only after payment has been confirmed, not simply because you return from checkout.

Keep your order reference and payment receipt for any enquiries. Purchases are one-time services, not subscriptions.

    3. Delivery and fulfilment

Electronic search results and documents are delivered to your verified account email. Physical originals are sent to the delivery address you provide when courier delivery is selected. Apostille and certification services are provided according to the options purchased.

Fulfilment depends on the availability of official records and the relevant authorities. We will notify you of material delays or any further information needed. Courier dispatch and arrival are separate events; any available tracking details will be provided on dispatch.

    4. Cancellation and refunds

Work on your order may begin promptly after confirmed payment. If you wish to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Starting work does not, by itself, remove any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights you may have.

Under our commercial refund policy, a refund may only be requested if the ordered service has not been provided within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of confirmed payment. For an order requiring physical documents, this condition applies if the documents have not been dispatched within that period.

Once that period has elapsed, email info@themis.com.cy with your order reference and the service that remains outstanding. We will check payment and fulfilment records, respond to your request, and process an approved refund to the original payment method through Stripe. The time it takes for the refund to appear depends on Stripe and your card issuer.

Delays arising directly from government registry downtime or technical failures, inaccurate or incomplete details supplied by you, or events beyond our reasonable control may affect eligibility under this commercial policy. We will explain the reason for any such delay and discuss the available resolution with you.

Cancellation is not available once the order has been executed on our side and the relevant disbursements have been paid or undertaken. In such circumstances, any refund we may provide excludes any disbursement already paid to the Registrar of Companies or otherwise undertaken on the order.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable rights to withdraw, cancel, or obtain a remedy for non-performance. The 14-day commercial condition and its exclusions do not override those rights.

Where consumer withdrawal rules apply, any request to begin performance during a withdrawal period and any legally required acknowledgement of the loss of withdrawal rights must be obtained separately and expressly. Acceptance of these terms alone is not a waiver of those rights.

    5. Registry records and liability

We undertake to retrieve the official records requested with reasonable care and skill. We cannot independently guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of information filed with the public registry by third parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, or reduce mandatory consumer remedies.

    6. Compliance and personal data

Orders are subject to applicable anti-money laundering obligations, sanctions and regulatory requirements. We may request further information or decline an order where required by law. If we cannot proceed, we will explain the position and arrange any refund permitted by law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Our Cookies Policy explains the use of cookies on this website.

    7. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Nicosia, Cyprus.

The version of these terms presented when you place your order applies to that order. Any later updates apply to future orders only.
